Copernicus Corporate Finance is an independent M&A boutique based in The Hague, The Netherlands, specialising in mergers and acquisitions in the lower mid-market. We advise entrepreneurs, family businesses, corporates and investors looking to grow through acquisitions, with transactions typically ranging from €1 to €50 million in enterprise value.

Our name refers to the astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus. With his heliocentric theory, he redefined our understanding of the universe. This shift in perspective defines our approach. Over the years, he has completed transactions across sectors including manufacturing, agri & food and business services. His experience spans buy-side and sell-side mandates, across the Netherlands and beyond. With a strong focus on buy-side M&A, he has a track record of identifying off-market opportunities and converting them into transactions that align with the strategic ambitions of his clients.

Outside of work, Niels enjoys surfing, running and exploring new destinations.
